Thank you for visiting my online portfolio. I have been a Technical Writer for over six years, and have come to realize that this title belongs to a large group of people that cannot be neatly categorized.

I have a broad range of interests, which is evident in the documents I have chosesn to showcase, my employment history, as well as my coursework. Although I chose to focus in Biology and science writing, I also have an undergraduate minor in English Literature and am interested in everything from knitting to ecology; an asset throughout my years in academia and in my career.

I earned my Master of Arts in Scientific and Technical Communication with a focus in Biology from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. During my education I was a volunteer at the BGSU Herpetarium, and was involved in educational demonstrations with reptiles and amphibians. I have been involved with the Society for Technical Communication, an international organization, since 2004.

I am currently an adjunct English instructor at Ivy Tech Community College in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I volunteer with the Little River Wetlands Project, where I serve on the fundraising committee and a number of subcommittees. I am also involved with the Northeast Indiana Chapter of Association of Fundraising Professionals.
